Caniwi Christmas 2013

Where to start....

Well, our chatty little girl who is now rolling left and right, blowing raspberries and starting on solid foods is keeping us pretty busy these days so a photo blog will have to do.

Before we get to the photos, I will point out the obvious ... Anikka is looking a LOT like her daddy and  our 5 month 17 lbs girl is NOT so little, heeee!.... she is a healthy girl.  The use of our front pack will be coming to an end very soon as will the baby capsule, bassinet and nighttime cuddles to sleep....she's growing up soooo quickly :( .

As much as our little girls development is moving along so is our life here in Queenstown following a purchase of a property in an area called Shotover Country 15 min out of Queenstown!  Dave will be starting the build this coming Nov-Dec 2013!  So if you're planning a trip to NZ plan for mid 2014 in time for the second bedroom... for now our one bedroom with a view of Coronet Peak overlooking the Shotover river will suffice, sigh!

Enjoy the pics!

Hiking with Anikka... we love the look she has staring up at the trees!  Look at those cheeks!

Best buddies!

First ski date ever!

Back in New Zealand enjoying the sunny hot hot weather! Dave raced the Paradise triathlon finishing 3rd while Anikka and I were support :)  Followed up the day camping at Kinloch which is across the lake from Glenorchy.

Missed capturing his somersault to cross the finish line.

Not a bad campsite, eh?

She is such a good little camper!
Happy as a clam, no surprise!
One last picture of my cutie pie...can you tell it's hot here in QT!
Hopefully the next blog will have pics and stories from my first few trail races back since Anikka was born .... The Routeburn Classic 32 km and the Shotover Moonlight half marathon (I would like to think I could do the full marathon, but I think thats still a few more months away).

See you next time!
